In your day-to-day and weekly activities, you'll find yourself at
the heart of collaboration, engaging with key business partners
across a spectrum of cross-functional teams, including the Security
and Trust Office, Infrastructure, Legal, Business Operations, and
the Customer/Partner Experience teams. Your interactions will span
various groups, affording you the opportunity to work alongside
Business and Technical Architecture Groups, Product Owners,
Development Team leads, and an array of cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do
In this role, you will become an integral part of our team as a
PlainID Engineer, dedicated to crafting and refining the access
control policies within our Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC)
system. Your primary focus will be to manage client requests
effectively, deploying and fine-tuning access policies on the
PlainID platform to guarantee secure, streamlined, and scalable
access management across our enterprise systems. Your
responsibilities will encompass designing and implementing complex
access control policies to meet the ever-evolving needs of our
business, collaborating closely with IT and security teams, as well
as business stakeholders, to translate requirements into practical
policy solutions. You will be tasked with ensuring the security of
information by upholding the integrity, confidentiality, and
availability through meticulous policy enforcement. Additionally,
you will be responsible for the continuous maintenance, updates,
and refinements of policies to keep pace with the shifting security
and business landscapes. Prompt troubleshooting of policy-related
issues will be crucial to provide uninterrupted access control
services, coupled with diligent documentation of policy
configurations and changes for audit and compliance tracking. As a
proactive team player, you will contribute to knowledge sharing and
the implementation of best practices, driving ongoing improvement
in policy management. Your role will also extend to providing
technical expertise and guidance in access control areas, such as
role-based (RBAC), attribute-based (ABAC), and PBAC, establishing
yourself as the go-to subject matter expert for PlainID within our
organization, and leading training and support initiatives for IT
staff and end-users.
Basic Qualifications
--- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or
a related field. With 5+ years equivalent work experience in
cybersecurity domain with RBAC, ABAC, PBAC understanding or Masters
degree with 3+ years of related experience
--- Experience with PlainID or similar PBAC systems, with a strong
understanding of policy languages such as XACML or REGO
--- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management and Identity
and Governance Access concepts, with a focus on policy-based access
control mechanisms
--- Experience in integrating IAM and IGA solutions with enterprise
systems such as ERP, CRM
--- Experience with directory services (e.g., LDAP, Active
Directory) and federated identity protocols (e.g., SAML, OpenID
Connect, OAuth)
--- Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (e.g.,
Java, Python, PowerShell)
Preferred Qualifications
--- Ability to analyze complex systems and data to develop
effective access control solutions
--- Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks
relevant to access management

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects
the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S.
and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For
non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only;
employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring
ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation
target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring
location and additional factors, including but not limited to
skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or
training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range
based on their U.S. or Canada hiring location. The recruiter can

during the hiring process.
U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision
insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short
and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and
numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid
holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday,
plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days
of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away
to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into
their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back
to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock
through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on
top of their base salary, which is split between quota and
non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco
typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to
50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and
75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and
100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates
are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on
incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic
sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales
plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales
incentive compensation to be paid.
