Position Overview:We are looking for a full-time
Board-Certified/Board Eligible Physician in San Leandro and
Fairfield California! If your specialty is in Pain Medicine,
PM&R, Occupational Medicine, Family Practice, Neurology, or
Internal Medicine, we are interested in hearing from you! This role
will support both San Leandro and Fairfield Clinics.
Schedule:Clinic Hours, Monday through FridayNo weekendsWe believe

Management Physician is to assume the role of a primary treating
physician for injured workers as well as commercial and Medicare
patients. This position requires an M.D. or D.O. with a personable
and proficient in relationship building to help create a positive
atmosphere. They will have the opportunity to comprehensively care
for their patients within our multidisciplinary organization. The
M.D. must also be comfortable communicating with agents of payors
for utilization review and request
authorizations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Comprehensive chronic pain care of
the patientsMedication management includes weaning within the
current standards of care.Evaluating patients with a
multidisciplinary team to determine which candidates are
appropriate for enrollment in various care programs within the
organization or a referral to others.Analyze reports, test results,
medical records, and examinations to diagnose any condition of
patients and propose treatment options.Discuss potential side
effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all
allergy information is up to date before prescribing
medication/treatment.Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and
dietary changes that may improve their health or help to treat the
health issue they are experiencing.Adhere to departmental policies,
procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives,
safety, environmental, and infection control standards.Maintain
patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state
health information privacy laws.Record complete, timely and legible
medical records.QUALIFICATIONS: LICENSURECalifornia Board Certified
Physician LicenseCurrent Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and
Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription
writingExperience with the California Workers Compensation System
would be helpful but not necessary.Functional restoration
experience preferred.Experience providing primary care and
diagnostic services in a clinical setting.Experience prescribing
appropriate medications, treatments, and health regimens.Experience
collaborating with specialists to address patient conditions and
diagnose issues.Experience working in a team of healthcare
professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive,
effective patient experiences with our organization.Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge base of
musculoskeletal pathology and treatment is essential.Must have the
ability to relate to patients in chronic pain.Must understand the
difference between chronic and acute pain.COMPENSATION
RANGE:$300,000 to $400,000 AnnualAll compensation ranges are posted
based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and
