The Registered Veterinary Technician position is responsible for ensuring the hospitals high standards of client and patient care are maintained and that our veterinarians are supported throughout the examination, diagnosis, and treatment phases.You: You must be skilled at and able to provide exceptional standards of client and patient care, even during challenging situations.Some of the key responsibilities for the role:Provide an exceptional pet family experience from intake to dischargeProvide a safe, secure, and comfortable as possible pet patient experience from intake to dischargeAssist with or perform wellness care and advanced tasks such as, radiographs, imaging studies, labs, dentals, humane euthanasia, urgent or emergency triage and supportAssist and mentor junior clinical support team membersProfessional, consistent, and compliant record keepingAssist the doctor on duty as neededYour baseline qualifications:California Registered Veterinary Technician License1+ years of hands-on clinical experienceProfessional communication skills, verbal and writtenProficient with business and veterinary technology and systemsAbility to occasionally lift and /or move more than 50 pounds with or without accommodationsOur benefits:Medical, dental and vision insurance with generous employer contributionHealth and dependent care savings/spending accountsMental health support benefitsPaid time off and holidays401k with a generous employer matching programAnnual continuing education allowancePetcare benefitsFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, VetnCare is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
