HR Administrative Assistant to support the HR Department and the
Deputy Director. Major responsibilities include heavy calendaring,
heavy meeting coordination, meeting notes, email correspondence,

-Performs projects as requested by Deputy Director or Director.
-Conducts researches and compiles information on a variety of
complex topics such as performance
management reports, daily ticket reports for each service delivery
and functional team.
-Manages sensitive and confidential information regarding any
number of HR issues including
bargaining unit issues.
-May coordinate and track recruitment's for the functional teams,
screen applicants and coordinate
interview process. Works with Generalist to develop interview
-Develops and disseminates weekly HR communication to all HR
-Runs daily ticket reports for all HR staff
-Check references for recruitment's, as needed
-Deputy Director and Director Support
-Drafts communications and publications.
-Manages calendar and coordinates meetings
-Coordinates meeting space and makes travel arrangements.
-May attend meetings with Deputy Director and/or Director and takes
-Maintains confidential management files.
HR Policy Administration:
-Provides employees and department supervisors/managers with
standard information regarding
University policies, bargaining unit agreements.
-Ensures best practices are followed in department and
-Identifies risk and reports issues to management as
General HR Support:
-Serves as back-up in functional areas as required.
-Assists HR professionals with advanced HR processes and
procedures, such as coordinating worker?s compensation, FMLA,
disability and other leaves of absences, administering life cycle
personnel actions such as probationary evaluations, new employee
benefits enrollments, and other actions.
-May perform data entry into HCM.
-Coordinates and delivers ?Proof of Service? requests
-Maintains Fed Ex and DHL accounts for HR
-Orders supplies for HR staff
Worked in Human Resources.
Ability to locate and report on information either verbally or in
writing in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and
accuracy are critical
Skill in managing sensitive and confidential information regarding
bargaining unit and other HR issues.
Experience in higher education setting
Advance Experience in higher education setting
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of how to research and compile information on HR issues,
laws, and court cases
Worked in a shared services environment or equivalent experience.
