strategic leadership, vision, and oversight to the design and
implementation of PG&E's employee and executive compensation
and benefits programs. Develops and recommends creative and
cost-effective plans and policies that provide a competitive value
and drive alignment to key business objectives. Oversees the
implementation and administration of all plans, proposes changes,
ensures Regulatory compliance and effective HR system integration.
Leads effect impactful change to HR to support and ensure the
standardization, governance, and optimization of core HR
functionsThis position is hybrid, working from your remote office
and your assigned work location based on business need. The
assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service
Territory.PG&E is providing the salary range that the company
in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time
of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the
locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will
be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to,
specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,
market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we
estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill be placed
towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decisionwill be
made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors. A reasonable
salary range is:Bay Area Minimum: $201,000Bay Area Maximum:
$343,000Reporting RelationshipThis position reports to the EVP,
People, Shared Services and Supply Chain.Job Responsibilities
- Envisions and develops overarching Compensation philosophy and
strategy as a foundation for all Compensation plans, programs,
standards and practices.
- Establishes Compensation policies and standards and ensures
consistent application of pay practices across the entire
company.
- Partners with executive leadership team to address overall
business strategy and operational challenges; adapt new and/or
adjust existing policies and programs to facilitate business
strategy and overcome operational challenges.
- Provides long-term strategic direction for represented employee
pay practices to ensure contractual terms are in alignment with
external market and, and to achieve affordability as part of
long-term business plan.
- Oversees executive compensation programs to ensure
competitiveness in marketplace.
- Engages with the EVP- HR in development/preparation/analysis of
presentations and materials for Compensation Committee of the Board
of Directors.
- Ensure department collaborates with HR business Partners, HR
functional managers, Executive leadership to deliver solutions that
continue to attract, motivate and retain outstanding
employees.
- Ensures the department maintains a working knowledge of
legislation that may affect compensation and benefits policies.
Ensures compliance with legal requirements associated with
compensation.
- Develops strategy for major/broad benefits categories (health &
welfare, retirement) and forecast implications over a longer time
horizon; translates strategy into specific benefit policy and
design.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. business

- 15 years or more of relevant compensation or other human

- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification

- Expertise on total rewards programs, including executive
compensation and its components. Experience in working with
Compensation Committees and BOD's including development of
materials for and presentation of strategy and data.
- Experience with continuous improvement and change
management
- Ability to lead Project Management Office (PMO) function
- Experience with strategic planning process
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives,
establish and maintain collaborative partnerships and provide
advice, counsel and technical expertise to strategic decisions
