Accounts Payable Associate
San Francisco/Hybrid (Bartable)
$110-120k + Bonus

Company
Our client is a Private Equity Firm with over $35+ AUM. The firm has offices all over the world and is looking for a AP Associate to join their team. Their team has over 35 employee and are looking for their new superstar to join their team.
Responsibilities
+ Responsible for learning all facets of the accounts payable function
+ Working with internal parties to obtain the necessary invoice payment approvals
+ Coding of invoices including the allocations of legal/consulting invoices
+ Processing semimonthly payments, including checks and ACH payments
+ Auditing employee expense reports and reconciling the corporate credit card
+ Following-up on vendor and inter-office inquiries
+ Handling bank transactions including deposits, wires and recording incoming and outgoing funds
+ Supporting staff accountants with research inquiries, journal entries and expense analysis
+ Accurately entering data in the fixed assets database and further automating the existing process
+ Assisting with tax filings including 1099s and Use tax
+ Aiding with process improvement projects including the implementation of a paperless workflow
+ Instituting and/or maintaining procedural manuals for the accounts payable group
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business
+ 3-4 years of Accounts Payable experience
+ Experience with SAP B1 or a similar accounting software program
+ Experience with FAS or a similar fixed assets software program is beneficial but not required
+ Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
