position is for a SVP, Real Estate Management to work at EAH
Corporate in San Rafael, CA. This is hybrid remote. Qualified
candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration, Finance, Engineering, Architecture or Planning, or
equivalent work experience. Must have 10 years' of senior level
property or asset management experience with significant marketing
or responsibility. Experience in affordable housing industry,
preferred. CPM, RPA or CSM designation (or in progress). Active CA
Real estate broker's license is required. Salary range: $190,000.00
to $320,000.00 per year; hiring range for new employees is
generally $190,000.00 to $255,000.00 per year, DOE. Please note an
offer will take into consideration the experience of the final
candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at

POSITION OVERVIEW Oversees the administration and financial
performance of the Real Estate Management Division in accordance
with EAH's quality standards and collaborates with senior
management to set strategic direction for EAH Housing. Seeks
appropriate growth opportunities for the department and maintains
ongoing client relationships. Through staff and on-site personnel,
is responsible for optimal fiscal, physical, operational and social
management of properties in the portfolio. Ensures that properties
EAH operates provide high quality property management and resident
services, and that properties are in compliance with all applicable
regulatory and funding requirements. Understands and supports EAH's
mission and core values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning Oversees creation and monitoring of division
goals and scorecards that are in alignment with corporate strategic
goals and holds self and staff accountable for results.
Administration Working through Real Estate Management Directors,
oversees staffing, compensation, employee development and
recognition, and performance of real estate management staff.
Develops and implements procedures and controls that demonstrate
industry best practices and mitigate risk. Working through REM
Directors, ensures adherence to Real Estate Management policies and
procedures. Oversees Compliance Department, ensuring that vacancy,
waitlist and certification procedures for properties are carried
out in conformity with all regulatory requirements and company
procedures. Oversees Resident Services, ensuring that division
meets company goals with regard to resident services. Ensures
accurate and timely reporting to owners and executives of EAH.
Collaborates with corporate and regional personnel, including
Accounting, IT, Human Resources, Real Estate Development,
Compliance, Communications, and Operation, to ensure compliance
with requirements of and timely reporting to government agencies,
funders, regulators, and investors. Approves and executes reports
and certifications on behalf of ownership boards for applicable
properties as appointed by President/CEO. Maintains senior-level
contact with third party owners and resolves critical impact tenant
relations Maintains and builds key industry relationships as
assigned. Financial Performance Approves pro-forma, overhead,
operating and capital improvement budgets and budget calendars,
tracks variances, and ensures smooth recovery process. Approves all
property expenses and invoices in excess of $50,000. Collaborates
with CFO to provide asset management strategy, monitoring and
implementation for portfolio. Consults with appropriate corporate
and on-site staff in developing and monitoring capital needs
budgets, operational planning, and financial planning. Negotiates
new management agreements and works to extend/renew existing
agreements. Brings agreements to EAH Board of Directors for final
approval. Ensures that property management fees and payroll
expenses are being charged, billed and collected in an effective
and timely manner. Business Development & Marketing Collaborates
with Executive Team, Real Estate Development staff, and other
departments to develop business plans for acquisitions, new
development, and fee management opportunities. Consults with
Executive Team on issues related to acquisition, development and
property management that can be identified in pre-development and
construction stages, including identifying and analyzing new
business opportunities. Develops and recommends appropriate
policies and policy changes that support EAH's strategic direction
and plans. Reviews market trends in real estate by region and
incorporates into business plans. Maintains & develops
fee-management /revenue-generating relationships and opportunities.
Works with REM Directors to develop/implement marketing plans.
Participates in appropriate professional and community
organizations. Other Keeps current on local, state and federal
issues related to affordable housing and disseminates information
to others. Maintains confidentiality of resident, applicant, and or
employee information. Attends and actively participates in
mandatory meetings and trainings, including affordable housing
industry meetings, weekly Directors Meeting, monthly Operations
Meeting; quarterly Scorecard Meeting, and annual Board Retreat.
Actively participates in EAH's Injury and Illness Prevention Plan.
Regular and predictable attendance. Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises REM Directors,
Director of Compliance, Director of Supportive Services, Director
of Resident Services, Director of Facilities, Director of New
Business REM, and an administrative assistant. Through Directors,
has responsibility for all other REM staff. Orients new employees
to position. Approves timesheets and time-off requests. Sets and
oversees employee work schedules. Provides performance feedback to
employees, including coaching, counseling and disciplining.
Conducts regular meetings for discussions, problem solving,
encouraging, and training. WORKING CONDITIONS Physical Requirements
Requires sitting for long periods of time and work on a computer.
Must be able to move freely throughout properties. Work Environment
Frequent travel to properties, community and agency meetings. Must
be available outside of regular working hours, including evenings,
weekends and holidays. Potential for high level of stress due to

functions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education - Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Architecture or
Planning, or equivalent work experience. Experience - 10 years' of
senior level property or asset management experience with
significant marketing or responsibility. Experience in affordable
housing industry, preferred. CPM, RPA or CSM designation (or in
progress). Active California Real estate broker's license. OTHER
REQUIREMENTS Must have valid driver's license and DMV clearance.
Must have own reliable vehicle and maintain own auto insurance in
accordance with EAH minimum requirements. Note: Nothing in this job
