Job Description:

Pet Food Express is a seeking an enthusiastic and well-organized front desk Receptionist/Marketing Assistant for our dog-friendly corporate HQ. The Receptionist acts as the face of Pet Food Express and is the first point of contact for vendors, candidates and visiting employees. This position also acts as the primary administrative assistant for a variety of corporate events, from sales meetings to our monthly cake day. The ideal candidate should be polished and professional with a well-developed sense of fun. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Receptionist will be given a number of assignments from different departments, especially Marketing, and Community Outreach. Our last two receptionists received internal promotions in Marketing and Recruiting - the right candidate will be driven and interested in career growth.What you?ll do:

  • Manage all incoming phone calls; redirect calls and/or take messages while understanding internal/external customer needs and act as the gatekeeper of the office.
  • Welcome office visitors by providing the PFE signature customer service.
  • Coordinate, manage and track conference rooms; prepare rooms for meetings and ensure rooms are used appropriately.
  • Love the front office and break room. Work with custodial team to ensure that our office presentation reflects the company well.
  • Manage catering vendors and coordinate meals for major meetings and company events
  • Provide administrative support to Marketing and other departments.What you'll bring:
    • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience, Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Strong phone, organizational, multi-tasking, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills
    • Commitment to extraordinary customer service, hospitality, and confidentiality of information
    • Ability to take initiative, be a self-starter, and maintain grace in a fast-paced environment
    • Thorough computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel, especially Microsoft Outlook to manage conference room bookings
