Our capabilities are also used to support investor due diligence analysis and portfolio strategies for some of the most renowned PE and management consulting firms, including BCG, Bain & Company, Ernst & Young, KPMG, L Catterton, and TPG Growth. Additionally, Social Standards is leveraged across equity sell-side research and advisory teams at major investment banks, including Bank of America, Barclays, and Citigroup. At Social Standards, you will be challenged, and have the chance to learn and grow quickly. About the role--- We are looking for a Data Systems Editor to join our growing Data Management team to build and maintain our analytics platform. In this position, you will use your knowledge of social media and relevant market-related experience to edit, organize, and structure large datasets within our proprietary platform that is used to provide unique consumer insights to our growing clientele. This is not a Data analyst role. This is an internal operational role, not a client-facing position. Your responsibilities--- ? Marry social media skills and modern data processing techniques in a unique content management system that will be used by our Customer Experience team to find meaningful consumer insights. ? Research and be knowledgeable of (or willing to learn) various consumer markets. (Health & Wellness, Home Goods, Travel, Beauty, etc.) ? Learn and master Social Standards--- internal tools, technologies, data and editorial standards, and processes. ? Collaborate with stakeholders in multiple departments to create the best possible product. The role requirements--- ? Comprehensive knowledge of social media networks (Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, TikTok, etc.) and the unique syntax and linguistic mannerisms used on one or more platforms. ? Knowledge in one or more major consumer product markets (or willingness to learn). ? Data editing/management experience or experience with content management systems. ? Strong interest in current events, market and consumer trends. ? Excellent internet research skills: efficient, comprehensive, in-depth ? Detail-oriented with good judgement, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and proven ability to spot trends and/or anomalies in data. ? Excellent language skills. (e.g. ability to disambiguate terms, names, etc.) ? Excellent English writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. ? Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfort in a startup environment with a dynamic, fast-evolving organization and strategic direction. Effective when working autonomously and with a frequent lack of infrastructure relative to larger software organizations. Enthusiastic about learning new skills and building something from the ground up. ? Independent project management: Able to deliver on-time, high quality work with little or no supervision. Strong organizational skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently multitask. ? Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Bonus points--- ? Experience or knowledge in any of the following product markets: Health & Wellness (highest priority given), Home Goods, Travel, and Beauty. ? Spoken and written French, Spanish, or German. ?
