Department Overview
Company's Marketing department plans, develops and executes
innovative marketing strategies that drive positive customer
experiences and participation with products and program offerings.
This includes safety and emergency preparedness, residential and
business rate education, energy efficiency, customer financial
support programs, clean energy, transportation electrification,
decarbonization and a variety of other initiatives designed to help
customers manage and achieve their sustainability and climate
goals.
Position Summary
As a member of the Marketing Strategy team, you will lead or aid in
the development and implementation of outreach strategies for
customer energy efficiency, transportation electrification, and
other energy management programs. Significant coordination with
internal partners plus external vendors and stakeholders is
required to ensure alignment, reconcile feedback and provide
continued support through the go-to-market and reporting
phases.
You will work closely with the Utility Partnerships and Innovation
team Customer Experience and Insights, Customer Contact Centers,
Business Energy Solutions (BES) , and external marketing and
advertising agencies to implement best in-class marketing campaigns
that deliver on business objectives and customer experience.
Responsibilities
Campaign Execution
--- Communicate activities and deliverables to appropriate internal
stakeholders and make recommendations for improvement when
necessary.
--- Review and provide feedback on lead generation efforts that
support external solutions providers including contractors, local
and state-wide program implementers and distributors.
--- Provide strategic marketing direction to internal teams to
create outreach plans, establish key performance indicators and
metrics, manage analytics and data deliverables, and execute on the
agreed upon plan.
--- Coordinate project management, timelines and deliverables with
internal project managers. Optimize plans as needed to support
roll-out efforts.
Cross-functional Coordination
--- Provide guidance to the Marketing and Communications team to
aid in development of a wide range of creative - including
advertising and direct-to-customer marketing, sales presentations
and turn-key communications, collateral and web updates.
--- Work with MarComm partners to develop campaign and tactical
creative briefs for external agencies that correspond to approved
marketing plans.
--- Assist in creating and editing presentations and materials used
for strategic planning.
Data-Driven Campaign Management and Reporting
--- Analyze campaign metrics and recommend optimizations to meet
program goals.
--- Establish customer data requirements to achieve effective
targeting by tactic, in partnership with external agencies.
--- Drive on-time delivery of in market communications through
effective prioritization and proactive information-sharing
--- Support the delivery of ongoing and ad hoc reports as required
by internal management.
--- Support internal updates to senior leadership on status of
program outreach.
o Monthly updates for Monthly Operating Reviews
o Monthly budget tracking and forecasting, including budget
scenario planning, projecting overages/under-spend and providing
cost-control recommendations
o Support special projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
Minimum:
========
--- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related
discipline, or equivalent work experience
--- 6 years of experience managing the development and delivery of
marketing materials, defining strategic objectives, setting metrics
and measuring performance

--- Exceptional problem-solving skills to reach successful outcomes
in ambiguous and dynamic situations.
--- Demonstrated project management skills.
--- Experience in Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer
marketing; experience working with internal sales teams.
--- Experience in Partner/ Channel marketing and sales.
--- Strong written communication skills with ability to write
content for marketing and communication materials, and business
presentations.
--- Prior experience building, launching, and managing
multi-channel marketing programs and campaigns, and with marketing
automation platforms.
--- Proven ability to foster trust and collaborative partnerships
with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
--- Analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention
to detail.
--- Ability to work proactively and self-start in a fast-paced,
team driven environment.
--- Experience working in environmental or energy related field a
