Job Description:
Vista Equity Partners is seeking to hire a Director to build out
the firm's financial reporting and consolidation process for the
corporate entities. This is a great opportunity for someone looking

Finance Department.The Director will be responsible for creating
processes and accounting policies around consolidation and
financial reporting for the firm's Management Company and overall
Parent Holding Company. The role will oversee the preparation and
consolidation of financial statements and manage audits both
domestically and globally. The Director will work with the
corporate accounting team to ensure any newly adopted accounting
policies and significant transactions are properly recorded in the
general ledger. The role is accountable to ensure the timely
identification and resolution of issues associated with Vista's
ongoing business operations.This is a great opportunity for someone

the role as the Director will frequently engage with teams and
colleagues across the Finance team and establish trusted
relationships across the Vista departments to identify issues,
analyze current processes, and implement future
changes.Responsibilities
- Manage the consolidated financial reporting processes and
coordinate preparation of consolidated account analyses,
reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Evaluate and determine consolidation requirements for newly
formed entities and changes to existing entities.
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for the
Management Company and Holding Company
- Coordinate and manage the aggregation of disclosure information
from various constituents within the organization
- Manage the overall firm close calendar, establishing and
monitoring adherence to quarterly timelines and deliverables.
- Oversee preparation of financial statements for international
entities based on local guidance and liaison with local support
team
- Manage financial statement audits and coordinate with external
audit teams
- Research guidance and prepare accounting analysis and work with
external auditors to gain concurrence in key areas, including but
not limited to consolidation, leases, investments, non-controlling
interests, equity compensation, and revenue recognition
- Monitor of accounting policy and financial reporting trends
within the asset management industry as well as emerging guidance
from regulators and proactively communicate impact to Finance
leadership
- Coordinate with Vista Finance and Accounting teams to ensure
the effective adoption of new accounting pronouncements and develop
a control environment to ensure consistence application
- Prepare and document accounting policy positions, procedures
and control environment and communicate positions to the broader
Finance and Accounting teams
- Preparation of supporting data for quarterly and annual tax
provisions and annual income tax returnQualifications
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in asset management with a
mix of Public Accounting (Big 4) and Industry experience
- Direct consolidation and financial reporting experience within
an Asset Manager is strongly preferred
- Must have strong knowledge of US GAAP and have the ability to
research and document conclusions on complex accounting
transactions
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and
commitment to high-quality work product
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
of sensitive and proprietary information
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple key stakeholders and
coordinate across various teams to execute necessary functions and
agreed-upon plans
- Strong oral and written communication skills including strong
presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred with
strong preference for additional graduate degrees or certifications
(Masters, MBA, CPA)
- Experienced with ERP systems and reporting tools (Sage Intacct
is a plus)
- As a condition of employment, we require all employees to be
