Production Editor - Bersin

**What you ll do** The Production Editor within Bersin will be responsible for editing research reports and other assets for accuracy, grammar, style, and suitability for the website and other initiatives. In addition this individual will be expected to edit and to direct editorial work for him or herself and others. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Review and edit graphics and submitted graphics files + Edit reports for grammatical accuracy, punctuation, style, and cohesion. Also ensure content adheres to corresponding asset type. + Vet reports for accuracy + Query and resolve report discrepancies with analysts + Prep the report and all ancillary elements (such as appendices, vendor profiles, etc.) for production/layout. + Provide production directives for graphics, call-outs, and other layout considerations. + Proofread the layout in PDF form and revise as necessary. + Review final changes from analysts/authors prior to publishing + Create all necessary files for publishing, based on report final. + Maintain and update as needed BBD style sheet + Generate and maintain appropriate style sheets for individual assets + Liaise with analysts, designers, and other service departments as needed to develop and deliver content. + Input content using content management tool **Other Duties and Responsibilities:** + Train and assign work to other freelance editors and document editorial policy and process + Liaise with colleagues (from sales, consulting, customer service, etc.) on vendor-/customer-related projects and requests + Create/craft definitions and other editorial-related information as needed + Create/review/edit metadata form from analysts/authors + Create thumbnail images. + Create vendor versions as needed + Review and edit all marketing copy; prepare documents for store page (covers, TOC, exec. Summary, etc.); get copy designed, and publish to the CMS + Respond to requests from B&A colleagues for reports, information, etc., as needed **Requirements:** + Minimum of 3 years prior editorial experience in publishing + Minimum of 2 years project management experience + Superior copyediting and line editing skills + Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite + Demonstrated experience with Database Applications **Preferred Skills:** + Ability to edit to Bersin standards and accommodate various writing styles for consistency + Manage editorial workflow and schedules for large volume of research assets each month + Experience managing and working in content management system + Strong oral and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills **How you ll grow** At Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
