Job Description:
Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a dedicated and
skilled Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year
to join our team of professionals focused on supporting students
with special needs. Our ideal candidate will have a strong
background in speech pathology or communication disorders, with
proven experience in educational or pediatric settings. This role
involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and
communication problems primarily in children, and collaborating
closely with teachers and parents to tailor individualized plans
that support educational success. Assess and diagnose students with
a variety of speech and language disorders. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans based on each student’s needs and
goals. Collaborate with educational staff and parents to integrate
speech therapy with educational goals. Monitor and document student
progress, adjusting plans as necessary. Participate in IEP meetings
to set and evaluate goals for students with speech and language
impairments. Engage in continuous professional development to
remain current on new therapy methods and technologies. Strong
understanding of speech-language pathology principles and
practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience
with various diagnostic tools and evidence-based therapy
techniques. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language
Pathology (CCC-SLP) Appropriate state licensure or ability to
obtain required licensure before employment begins.
