Watearth's Water Resources Engineer must be able to work independently with good written and oral communication skills, manage multiple small- to medium-sized projects, mentor and manage staff on projects, and creatively solve problems. They will work directly with our clients and participate in business development. There is significant opportunity to advance into a Senior Project Manager or Engineering Manager position.

Roles and Responsibilities:This position is for a full-time employee of Watearth and working on a variety of projects including stormwater, Low Impact Development, water quality, hydrology/hydraulics modeling, design of stormwater and water resources facilities, water conservation, and field work such as QSP services and site reconnaissance. Planning and modeling experience is required, and some design experience preferred. Includes project management and staff management on projects. Projects can be in a variety of locations where we have offices although travel is not usually required. There is significant opportunity to advance into a senior technical position or Project Manager. Minimum Experience Requirements

• Water Resources Engineer/Planner experience with a focus on stormwater with E.I.T required/P.E preferred.
• Preferred 4 - 8 years of experience with stormwater, hydrology/hydraulics, water quality, LID, water supply, and/or wastewater.
• Experience with hydrology modeling, hydraulics modeling, water quality modeling, Low Impact Development modeling, or water/wastewater modeling required.
• Design and construction drawing experience or work supporting design projects preferred.
• Ability to perform field work required. Active certification as QSP and CISEC preferred, or ability to obtain easily. This is a full-time position and is to be filled as soon as a qualified candidate is identified.
