for a QA (quality assurance) Engineer to help the R team QA their
internal and cross-departmental tools. The successful candidate
will be a key contributor to improve quality, functionality,
reliability and usability of the R tools. ResponsibilitiesWork with
the R team to QA their internal and cross-departmental tools.Manual
testing of internal tools and applications.Participate in test
planning for all levels of project testing including functional,
integration, system, performance, usability , regression and user
acceptance.Analyze all inputs (including software specifications,
customer input, development documentation and product standards) to
create and maintain test cases.Write, execute and manage all
documentation related to QA. E.g. QA test plans, regression test
plans, UAT test plans, etc.Document test results and collaborate on
issue resolution.Collaborate with other QA engineers to implement
best practices throughout the team.Learn, adhere to and improve QA
related tasks and processes.Help to identify, implement and
maintain appropriate testing platform(s) and/or tool(s) for
QA.QualificationsBachelors in Computer science or related field or
equivalent experience1-4 years of experience as a QA
EngineerDemonstrated success with quality assurance
conceptsExperience with Software Development Lifecycle, in
particular Waterfall and Agile methodologiesExperience with
software QA tools and processesStrong analytical, critical
thinking, problem solving, organizational, and planning skillsTeam
playerGood time-management skillsAbility to multitask through at
least 2 projects at once in a busy and ever changing work
environmentGreat interpersonal and communication skillsVersion
control system (GIT or equivalent) experienceAbility to create and
execute SQL queries is requiredKnowledge of any programming or
scripting languages e.g. Java, C++, Python, Javascript
