Trustle is looking for an extraordinary Staff Backend Engineer with a proven track record of success who would love the opportunity to work in a hot software startup company targeting an amazing new market.
What You'll Do

• Build and scale services that integrate with third-party platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud and GitHub
• Be a contributor to the product by bringing a fresh perspective for new feature ideas
• Optimize the performance of existing backend services and databases (we use Postgres)
• Take ownership of new features and take them from design stages to production
• Ensure that product features we ship hold a high standard of quality, security and reliability
• Help us fine-tune our software development lifecycle
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation
• Be a positive mentor for other members of our engineering team
• Troubleshoot and fix production issues to ensure the best experience for our customers
• Provide high quality code reviews and maintain a high baseline for code quality
  Requirements
  
  • 5+ years of experience building large-scale software applications
  • Strong experience with Identity and Access Management systems such as AWS IAM, Google Cloud IAM, Okta, Active Directory, etc
  • Expert knowledge of designing distributed systems and concepts such as load-shedding, circuit breaking, backoff algorithms, etc
  • Proven experience with queuing systems such as Kafka, Cloud PubSub, RabbitMQ , etc
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases, SQL and database performance optimization
  • Strong experience with observability and application performance monitoring
    Nice To Haves
    
    • Experience with Typescript and Express web framework
    • Familiar with SCIM and SAML
    • Expert level experience with Postgres and database design
    • Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud
