Job Description: Directs fundraising and development activities for assigned territories and/or regions from a Division perspective. Works with DFVP and Region CDO's to develop and execute strategy for funds solicitation. Monitors the execution of goals through metrics. Responsibilities 1. Strategic Program development: Partners in development and execution of strategic planning for funds solicitation at the Division and Region levels. Creates and implements fundraising goals, objectives and action plans to support revenue objectives with organizational short- and long-term goals. 2. Donor program management: Oversees the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors, data reporting and acknowledgement of specific donor funds and/or gifts in-kind. 3. Fundraising initiative growth: Develops training curricula, materials and resources for fundraising initiatives that increase organization capacity. Directs donor strategies and donor calls, leads joint donor calls with other fundraising resources (e.g., RMs, board members). 4. Staff management: May have direct reports. Act as DFVP to smaller regions. Act as Region CDO when absent. 5. Scope: Interfaces with executive leadership. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline required. Degree in related discipline can be substituted. Equivalent experience can be substituted for educational requirement portion of qualifications. Experience: Minimum 7 years of fundraising/sales leadership and/or equivalent experience. Must have extensive knowledge of fundraising and/or sales principles and techniques in large organizations. Management Experience: Prefer minimum of 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience. Skills and Abilities: Excellent organizational, leadership, analytical, mathematical and communication (oral and written) skills. Good project management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of fundraising database systems (e.g. Raiser's Edge, Salesforce.com). Other: Not applicable. Travel: 25-40% business travel may be required. A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required. Competencies To be determined. May require the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds.
