It's uncommon for candidates to match all job requirements, but if you're not far off, we want to hear from you.Position SummaryMarqeta is looking for a highly driven Senior Manager for Lead Generation to join our Partnerships team and help lead our growth across North America. We are looking for someone who can create and execute a highly effective inbound referral and lead generation program across all our third-party ecosystem partnerships including Networks, Banks, GSIs, Alliance and Channel Partners with a commitment to create, design and execute the program.In this role, you'll build out the Ecosystem lead generation program and play a vital role in increasing the number of strategic leads generated for modern money movement. This will include closely aligning with Marqeta's teams, networking to build new relationships, and successfully building and executing a lead generation program. Key to this role is an ability to understand Marqeta's technology, expertly communicate its benefits, to work cross-functionally across the organization and to design a program for all Ecosystem Partners to be able to deliver leads.You might be a good fit if you have a keen desire to build relationships and to architect a program that will generate high quality and high ARR yielding leads for Marqeta. You're passionate about program design and building the BD sales pipeline while driving net new ARR to the business. You ultimately want to be a part of a high-performing cross-functional team as we work together to drive net new leads into the organization and drive ARR. You have a solution-oriented mindset, and an environment with limited structure and oversight is where you thrive. You enjoy building programs with limited structure and oversight comes naturally to you. You have excellent analytical abilities, communication skills, and are a natural collaborator.This role will report to Marqeta's VP, Partnerships.What You'll Do

  • Architect an inbound lead referral program for ecosystem partners (Banks, Networks, Channel Partners, GSIs, Investors etc.)
  • Works cross functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations in order to design a program and the infrastructure that is seamless and efficiently generates leads for the Sales/BD teams
  • Develop a reporting and tracking infrastructure that allows leads to be effectively tracked in the CRM tool, managed through the sales process, and reported back to the Lead Source
  • Develop feedback loops to the partners to generate higher quality leads by segment, use case, vertical
  • Facilitate introductions and partnerships between partner and Marqeta Sales and BD team.
  • Develop additional alliance partnership ideas, research target relationships, and provides feedback into the organization
  • Work with senior leadership, peers, and other decision-makers to explore, frame, and operationalize the referral partnerships for Marqeta's card issuing platform
  • Manage complex business-related issues that arise during program designWhat We're Looking ForIn addition to proven partnerships/lead generation experience, we're seeking the following attributes:
    • 4+ years of experience including two-plus years of experience in a high growth technology company
    • A proven track record in payments as a highly successful, professional partnerships person having learned to design programs or lead generation strategies combination of professional training and actual B2B experience
    • Familiarity and ease with technology, B2B technology applications and how technology platforms serve customer businesses
    • Talent for communicating the technical and product benefits of technology platforms to both sophisticated and unsophisticated partners.
    • Strong understanding of the current Fintech ecosystem especially in relation to modern money movement
    • Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly motivated and able to work against schedules
    • Superior communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation written, email)
