Job Description:

Serve as a thought partner on complex and novel social health related strategies and issues.

Serve as the project leader planning and facilitating several multi stakeholder workgroup meetings annually related to several social determinants of health (SDOH) initiative.

Support the social health and resource connection screening deployment primary care service lines and emergency department to inlcude project management duties (ie, develop and maintain project plan, track deliverables, update workflows, track and support local pilots).

Planning and tracking the stakeholder recommendations, conducting thematic analyses and developing comprehensive recommendations for executve review and approval.

Developing annual engagement plans for multiple stakeholder groups that ensure annual plans and priorities are informed by pirmary stakeholder groups.

Planning and supporting several medical center check-in meetings annually.

Develop and deploy communication plans that support transparent and concise messaging suitable for various stakeholder groups.

May conduct literature reviews and provide up to date information through executive quality summaries as needed related to national best practices.

Supporting ongoing work related to program sustainability, ie, performance tracking, work group support, additional workflow optimizations, etc.

May design and lead performance improvement activities and be responsible for conducting various analysis as needed.
Essential Functions:

  • Defines and frames complex multi-dimensional strategic management issues and develops time tables/processes for decision making.
    • Translates needs, issues, and ideas into effective strategies and action plans.
      • Coordinates team/project activities and schedules.
        • Researches key business issues and directs the collecting and analyzing of quantitative and qualitative data.
          • Synthesizes analysis and identifies key findings.
            • Assists in the determination of goals and priorities with team, clients, or project management sponsors.
              • Establishes team membership and project participant.
                • Develops proposals for clients outlining proposed project structure, approach, and work plan.
                  • Provides staff leadership to multi-disciplinary project teams, as well as manages work of outside consultants when used.
                    • Formulates specific implementation plans and evaluates the effectiveness of actions/programs implemented.
                      • Communicates results/recommendations to project sponsors.
                        • Develops creative alternative solutions.
                          • Recommends action steps to team and client.
                            • Plans and facilitates meetings.
                              • Makes formal presentations to various senior level audiences.
                                • Transfers project team knowledge/tools to client.
                                  • Participates in the development and management of the department, including coaching, recruiting, conducting performance reviews for analysts, and other departmental activities.
                                    Basic Qualifications:

                                    Experience

                                    • Minimum four (4) years of related analytical and/or consulting experience required.
                                      Education

                                      • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, health care administration, operations research, public health administration, or other related field, OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.

                                        • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
                                          License, Certification, Registration

                                          • N/A.
                                            Additional Requirements:

                                            • Specific expertise required as specified.

                                              • Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis.

                                                • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of data systems.

                                                  • Must demonstrate effective communication, consulting, interpersonal, presentation, and project management skills.

                                                    • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
                                                      Preferred Qualifications:
                                                      Minimum four (4) years of related analytical and/or consulting experience in health care preferred.
                                                      Master's degree preferred.

                                                      Strong written and verbal communication skills.

                                                      Experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

                                                      Strong business acumen.

                                                      Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative information, ie, conducting supply demand analysis, thematic analysis, etc.

                                                      Proficient in developing executive level power points and executive documents.

                                                      Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare operations environment as either an individual contributor or leadership role.

                                                      Experience managing social health programs.

                                                      Knowledge of public health concepts and models.
