What You'll DoAre you a relationship builder?A Kalamuna Account Manager (AM) is a liaison between client stakeholders and our agency. Through contracting and client onboarding, you will ensure we're off to a great relationship you are invested in sustaining.Client satisfaction is your primary mandate. You will be our clients' trusted ally and confidant. You will empathize with their needs and advocate for their interests to the internal project team. You will act as a conduit who converts expressed or anticipated needs into work within existing contracts, and into opportunities for new work by developing long-term digital strategies with the client.AMs are responsible, in coordination with other members of the project and agency leadership team, for the forecasting of new projects and team formation, providing budget and timeline oversight and reporting both to the Client and the project's internal Executive Stakeholder.You will translate technical jargon and communicate with both technical and non-technical team members. You will nurture and grow accounts, seek referrals, and occasions to promote the value of our work to internal stakeholders, the client's community, and, in collaboration with Marketing, you will socialize and celebrate our client partner's successes.Candidates for this full-time (32-40h/wk) remote position must reside in the US or Canada.   • Effectively building and maintaining trust with clients
  • Setting and resetting expectations, and having difficult conversations at times to realign partnerships
  • Successfully nurturing and growing existing accounts
  • Understanding what is strategically relevant to a client's industry
  • Working with mission-driven organizations
  • Drafting and delivering presentations, and communicating verbally and in writing
  • Engaging toward the end of the sales cycle to supervise contract execution and buy-in from all parties
  • SOWs, MSAs and other agency contracting vehicles
  • Using CRMs to maintain deals and relationships
  • Ability to work with Marketing, Sales and Senior Leadership to help better express our market position and unique value proposition
  • Leveraging subject matter experts for pre- and post-sales strategy
  • Reporting on the health of ongoing accounts both qualitatively and quantitatively
  • Understanding the essentials of web strategy, design, and development in an agency context
  • Agile methodologiesBonus points
