We do this through a sizeable field presence but also through the increasing use of technology. This includes systems such as enterprise CCTV, network video recorders, physical access management systems and intrusion detection systems. In addition, we have added more advance technologies with the introduction of NERC visitor management systems, virtual reception, ground based radar, drone detection systems, user behavioral analytics systems and artificial intelligence. The organization continues to evaluate and implement new technologies to manage physical security risks. - We consist of security professionals, each with multiple years of experience in their chosen discipline. -Position SummaryCorporate Security is seeking a Program Manager to work with and guide Project Managers within the Portfolio and Delivery team to successfully manage and deliver our programs and projects. -The Program Manager will provide proper governance for projects by developing and implementing policies and procedures designed for Corporate Security that adhere with the Enterprise Program Management office. - -This person will collaborate and oversee cross-functional programs and projects to ensure they meet scope, schedule and financial objectives. - The successful candidate will demonstrate strategic leadership and work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to support Company and Corporate Security goals. - The Program Manager will effectively engage resources and teams across various departments and organizations to successfully deliver programs to achieve our overall mission. - -PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. -The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. -We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.--- -A reasonable salary range is:--- -Bay Area Minimum: $102,000.00Bay Area Mid-point: $127,000.00Bay Area Maximum: $152,000.00&/OR---California Minimum: $97,000.00California Mid-point: $121,000.00California Maximum: $144,000.00 -This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location based on business need. -Job Responsibilities

  • Managing relationship with and providing direction to vendors to deliver projects and programs
  • Developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts
  • Developing, measuring, and reporting on success of projects and programs
  • Partnering with the internal organization, vendors, and external partners to develop and implement strategies to successfully execute programs and projects
  • Identifying and maintaining strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners
  • Partnering with Regulatory and Compliance staff to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and support regulatory activities by supplying information for filings, data requests, and meeting with regulators.
  • Identifying stakeholders and communicate within and outside of PG&E
  • Developing and/or implementing policies and procedures
  • Identifying new partners, technologies, and delivery channels
  • Develops relationship across PG&E, with the goal of growing meaningful relationships that will facilitate collaborations and communications.
  • Partners with teams and leaders within Corporate Security to ensure compliance, project delivery, handoff to operations and feedback to the planning function for needed improvements
  • Working with and engaging Integrated Planning teams to develop and maintaining the Book of Work for Corporate Security -Qualifications Minimum:
    • B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related fields
    • 6 years of project/program management and/or governance.
    • Advance knowledge of project, program and portfolio financial management, budgeting, and allocation -Desired:
      • M.S./M.B.A. degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, business administration, engineering or related discipline with an information technology focus
      • 8 years in project/program management or governance experience
      • PMP Certification
      • Proficient in financial management and project budgeting in a utility organization
      • Strong understanding of the business to help drive strategic decision making, and to recommend operational improvements
      • Ability to lead large and complex projects working with cross-functional teams
      • Ability to create compelling business cases based on complex business environments and inputs
      • Adept at addressing issues with diplomacy and tact
      • Proficient in conceptualizing creative solutions, as well as documenting and presenting them to senior management for alignment and support - -
