Job Description:
The Development Manager will be iMentor Bay Area's researcher
and institutional grant writer, driving relationship mapping, and
drafting proposals in support of our frontline development staff.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Development, iMentor Bay
Area, the Development Manager (DM) is an integral member of the
growing regional Development Team, ensuring that the department has
the research, portfolio management, administrative support, and
information systems in place to operate with maximum efficiency,
meet an annual fundraising goal of up to $600k, and support
continued program growth.
The Development Manager will play a key role in the execution of
iMentor's fundraising and donor cultivation and stewardship
strategies in the Bay Area. In this role, they will specifically
support the Associate Director of Development in stewarding
relationships with iMentor's institutional partners and prospects.
In particular, the DM will help manage iMentor Bay Area's growing
portfolio corporate and foundation partners, identify new
relationships for iMentor in the philanthropic landscape, and help
diversify our institutional and individual funding pipeline with
the goal of increasing new money sources. Additionally, the
Development Manager role offers the opportunity to lead and shape
best development operations practices, identify and conduct
training, and support database management for Bay Area Development
Team.
The ideal candidate is one who is highly organized,
detail-oriented, and systems-focused, is a strong researcher,
writer and cross-functional project manager, and has foundational
experience with maximizing development operations.

continue to close the college completion gap for iMentor students;

scale.
