Overview
PG&E's Corporate Real Estate Strategy and Services (CRESS)
organization is responsible for governing, planning, acquiring,
designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining 7 million
square feet (sq. ft.) of facilities throughout PG&E's 72,000
square mile service territory. - -These facilities include but are
not limited to service centers, data centers, contact centers,
office buildings, shops, warehouses, construction and equipment
yards, vehicle maintenance garages, Customer Service Offices (CSO),
and meeting and training facilities.
Position Summary
As the Manager, Demand Alignment and Planning, you will be modeling
PG&E's Purpose, Virtues, and Stands while working with key
internal and external stakeholders to support Business Operations
and Strategy development. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of
CRESS' business and your leadership skills will allow you to
oversee the team that supports developing Business Cases, the
General Rate Case (GRC), the Business Plan Deployment (BPD) and
Demand Alignment processes, financial oversight and forecasting,
the IT Roadmap, Data Governance, and Project Management
Organization (PMO) reporting.
-You will be overseeing the development of Executive Officer Team
(EOT)-level presentations that enable Executive Leadership to make
data- and risk- informed decisions as PG&E applies Breakthrough
thinking. As PG&E embarks on transforming and modernizing much
of its workspaces to accommodate current and upcoming initiatives,
your adaptability, flexibility, and nimbleness will allow you to
quickly develop a vision and solution to address issues at hand and
be able to articulate in various presentation venues and media.
-PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good
faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the
job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of
the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on
multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills,
education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value,
geographic location, and internal equity. -A reasonable salary
range is: -Bay Area Minimum: $128,000Bay Area Maximum: $218,000
-&/OR -California Minimum: $122,000California Maximum: $207,000
-Job Responsibilities
- Oversees the development, communication, and implementation of
CRESS real estate strategies that support PG&E's Purpose and
Stands, strategic and GRC initiatives, Future of Work, and
Regionalization.
- Oversees and drives the ongoing and annual intake and Demand
Alignment processes, which entails collaborating with Functional
Areas to understand requirements, internal CRESS teams for
solutions and support in the portfolio, and Business Finance for
funding.
- Oversees, prepares, and presents business cases and Officer and
Executive level presentations for CRESS-driven strategic portfolio
initiatives such as acquisitions, dispositions, consolidations,
and/or new development of leased or owned facilities.
- Oversees, prepares, approves, and presents the annual BPD for
CRESS.
- Oversees the GRC Witness Assistant and related supporting GRC
documents. Assist in create compelling business cases based on
requirements and incorporate into the GRC.
- Oversees, prepares, approves, and presents monthly finance
variance explanations and forecasting.
- Oversees and acts as the primary escalation point in resolving
policy exceptions and occupancy conflicts as related to workplace
by researching and providing objective feedback.
- Oversees the CRESS Data Analytics and benchmarking to create
and recommend performance data/metrics, findings, trends, and
recommendations to support business and Operations.
- Oversees the CRESS IT Roadmap team and working with Vendors to
create and recommend software, system changes to create
capabilities, enhance use cases, and create efficiencies throughout
the organization.
- Oversees CRESS strategy and planning function for field and
office by developing business plans and supporting data analytics
by region. -Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related
discipline or equivalent experience
- 8 years of experience in business operations, strategy
development, planning, finance, real estate, and/or information or
data analysis
-Desired:
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS) or job-related discipline or
equivalent experience
- Corporate Real Estate experience within corporate services,
transaction management, construction, workplace design, or other
related strategic real estate planning experience.
- Corporate Real Estate planning knowledge of a diverse
organization with a large geographic presence, preferable in the
utility or service industry with a collection of office and service
center properties.
- Real Estate Broker's License, Certified Commercial Investment
Member (CCIM), or Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR)
designation
- Knowledge of PG&E operations, LOB objectives, and the
existing PG&E real estate portfolio.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement department wide
initiatives of the highest complexity and impact
- Demonstrated Lean best practices
- Demonstrated ability to solicit, facilitate, and integrate
information from a variety of sources and expertise into actionable
resolution and mitigation plans
- Demonstrated high attention to detail
- Experience solving complex problems through quantitative data
driven analysis, modeling, and experience using spreadsheet and
presentation tools for data visualization.
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to
partner well with other team members and interface effectively with
all levels of management
- Demonstrated success influencing diverse customers or
stakeholders and leading teams that include non-direct reports in
cross-functional settings
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with ability
to succinctly interpret data for executives and frame business
issues in a straightforward manner
- Familiarity with Corporate Real Estate Integrated Workplace
Management Systems (IWMS)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 356 products including Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint Online. -#featuredjob
