Requisition ID -# 144180 -Job Category: Information Technology -Job Level: Manager/PrincipalBusiness Unit: Information TechnologyWork Type: HybridJob Location: Oakland - - - -Department OverviewPG&E's Information Technology (IT) organization is a unified organization comprised of various departments which collaborate effectively to deliver high quality technology solutions. -The Meter to Cash Team (MTC) within Customer Care is responsible for working collaboratively with the lines of business to implement solutions that cover metering, contact centers operations, field activities, billing, demand response programs, payments, credit, financial transactions, etc.).The MTC team consists of a staff of highly skilled professions working together to deliver for our Customer Care clients using hybrid and agile methodology. - -Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Program Manager to manage the strategy and execution of projects in the MTC portfolio. - This position will partner with the lines of business to prioritize PG&E customer programs resulting from regulatory and legal commitments. - In addition, the portfolio will include many initiatives that help to automate and improve business efficiencies and operations. - This position will manage two scrum teams to deliver on projects, operations & maintenance work, and other requests from our clients. - Additionally, the Program Manager will partner with the business on ideation, estimation and other pre-project activities and build a solid 3-year roadmap for the team. -PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. -The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. -We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.--- -A reasonable salary range is:---Bay Area Minimum: $132,000.00Bay Area Mid-point: $179,000.00Bay Area Maximum: $226,000.00&/OR---California Minimum: $125,000.00California Mid-point: $170,000.00California Maximum: $215,000.00 -This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location based on business need. -Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate technology requests related to customer programs
  • Coordinate cross-functional discussions to understand overall technology needs and ensure alignment of roadmaps and solutions for the Customer Care organization
  • Provide oversight and guidance to the analysis, design, development and implementation of solutions for Customer Care line of business
  • Stay apprised of technology and advanced solutions to meet client demands
  • Point of contact for Internal Audits and regulatory requests
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecast for the MTC portfolio
  • Develop, measure and report on success of the Customer Care programs
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners
  • Identify stakeholders and communicate within and outside of PG&E
  • Monitor and continuously improve IT's implementation methodology
  • May occasionally manage cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Coaches and mentors less experienced employees
  • Solves unique and complex problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions
  • Demonstrates strategic leadership with internal stakeholders to support Company goals. -QualificationsMinimum:
    • Minimum of B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, information technology, business administration, engineering, or other relevant field required
    • Minimum of 8 or more years of experience in programming/systems analysis, project management, and/or IT strategy planning or other related area required -Desired:
      • Strong utility business understanding
      • Passion for technology
      • Ability to use understanding of the business to help drive strategic decision making, and to recommend operational improvements
      • Ability to lead the largest most complex projects across the line of business supported (i.e. Gas, Electric, Generation, etc.)
      • Deep knowledge and expertise of business and or industry drivers
      • Ability to lead large and complex projects working with cross-functional teams
      • Ability to create compelling business cases based on complex business environments and inputs
      • Adept at addressing issues with diplomacy and tact
      • Knowledge of Agile software development principles, values, concepts, methods, best practices, and techniques as needed to perform at the job level
      • Knowledge of workforce planning analytics theories, concepts, methods, best practices, and techniques as needed to perform at the job level
      • Ability to influence and lead behavior change
      • Competency in developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
      • Competency in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
      • Competency in applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization goals
      • Competency in effectively building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization - -
