These services are critical to achieving the company's strategic, operational and financial objectives. -This role in particular will be within the Business Finance, Integrated Planning organization supporting the company's multi-year planning process (Business Plan Deployment). -The Business Plan Deployment process is an element of PG&E's Lean Operating System which connects the company's TNS strategies and goals through to detailed work, resource, and financial plans that achieve them. -Partner OrganizationsThe successful candidate will work with all of the Lines of Business at PG&E. This is a great experience to gain an enterprise perspective, build a network across the Company, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver on company level problem solving and results. Examples of specific partner groups include the Lean Office, Engineering, Planning & Strategy (EP&S), enterprise risk and compliance groups, investment planning groups, work and resource planning groups, and each Line of Business' planning function. Additionally, this role has a direct and key partnership working with the sr. leadership team. -Position SummaryThis Principal Business Finance Analyst will be focused on leading the annual company-wide multi-year planning process, known as Business Plan Deployment. This includes (1) end to end process development and integration with a cross-cutting group of stakeholders and leaders, (2) process roll out and lead role in supporting its execution across the business, and (3) communication of process insights and results to sr. leadership for key decision making on the company's future year plans. -PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the -job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be -based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, -market value, geographic location, and internal equity. -This job is also eligible to participate in -PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs. - -A reasonable salary range is:--- -California Minimum: $---129,000California Maximum:$220,000 -This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and based on business needs. -Core Job Responsibilities

  • Process design: Lead the overall design and implementation of the company's Business Plan Deployment process through coordination and collaboration with key stakeholders across the business
  • Process facilitation: facilitate end-to-end process adherence, delivery, and quality; own overall timelines, deliverables, leadership meetings, content and agendas
  • Problem solving: Consult with business partners on key company issues and govern resolution paths -
  • Business Partner Support: - serve as the point of contact for overall process guidance and support; proactively help business partners to achieve high levels of clarity, delivery, quality, and decision making
  • Standard Work -& Process Optimization: -Identify and evaluate key processes for opportunities in effectiveness, control, and efficiency, and recommend and implement improvements using the principles of standard work. -
  • Recognized subject matter expert who represents PG&E in Regulatory and/or industry forums on subject of expertise.
  • Demonstrates strategic leadership with internal stakeholders to support company goals.
  • Adept at addressing issues with diplomacy and tact
  • Ability to create compelling business cases based on complex business environment and inputs -QualificationsMinimum:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Masters Degree Preferred
    • 10 years of related experience or equivalent -Desired:
      • Strong project / program management experience
      • Ability to use understanding of the business to help drive strategic decision making and to recommend operational improvements.
      • Excellent interpersonal communication and qualitative skills
      • Intellectual curiosity and relentless continuous improvement
      • Ability to work independently with limited oversight
      • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
      • Working knowledge of SAP Analysis for Office
      • Financial acumen
