director of Business Planning oversees Clorox's strategic and
operational long-range and annual planning processes. As such, the
candidate designs, implements, and executes the Corporate planning
processes that ensure that the SBUs, Groups, and company deliver
their strategic objectives, including its sales and profitability
goals. The position works with the Corporate Finance team to ensure
the company's financial and operational plans and calendars are
integrated and in sync.This director reports to the corporate VP of
Operations for the Enterprise Operations team and also directly
with the Chief Operating Officer and Group Presidents to ensure
that intra-group business planning processes for Group SBUs
function well within the larger corporate context. This role will
link strongly with SBU general managers, group squad leaders, and
Group operations directors. As a business planning director,
he/she/they leads the analyses of emerging industry and category
trends, competitive threats, and economic indicators that other
SBUs leverage in their detailed planning, often working with groups
like Enterprise Analytics. This leader works with the Enterprise
Operations team to ensure that the SBUs, Groups, and company have
the necessary performance metrics and cadence to operate
effectively. This role is an enterprise leader role ideal for
candidates with future GM aspirations to provide earlier career
visibility to strategy and business operations work across a large
portfolio, but it is also appropriate for high-potential functional
leaders looking to broaden their experience set with enterprise
work.In this role, you will:
- Develop, execute and continuously improve the LRP planning
process, including capability planning, for the company, Groups,
and SBUs.
- Develop, execute and continuously improve the annual and
forecast planning process for the company, Groups, and SBUs.
- Develop and continuously improve Enterprise guidance for
business & scenario planning, based on industry and category
analysis for trends, threats, and economic indicators. Coordinate
with key Enterprise initiatives (e.g., ERM 2.0, Finance); develop
'proactive' Enterprise Operations Tean (EOT) business planning
discipline and assist Group Operations Directors to execute BU
level scenario planning
- Develop and or assist in facilitating Group and intra-Group
business planning processes where additional support is required,
including Admin and Resource Planning.
- Develop and maintain the common performance metrics for the
Enterprise, aligned to other strategic initatives (e.g., EoT
Scorecard, IGNITE, etc); guide Group Operations Directors for SBU /
Group-level to establish metrics cascade.
- Special projects for VP Operations, COO, and Group Presidents
as required.What we look for:Years and Type of Experience:
- Minimum: 8 years experience in consumer goods or professional
service providers that serve consumer goods.
- Desirable: The ideal candidate would have experience in
positions that require self-driven work product that incorporates
and reconciles the perspective of a broad audience of senior and
organizational leaders. Examples include, but are not limited to,
management consulting, and leadership roles in marketing, sales,
finance, product supply.Skills and Abilities

demonstrated skill in summarizing complex concepts into executive
communication materials.

challenges.Education Level/Degree:
- College/B.S. or equivalent. - MBA preferred but not

according to the cost of labor in your area.-Zone A: $167,500 -
$345,100-Zone B: $153,600 - $316,300-Zone C: $139,600 - $287,600All
