Responsibilities
As our business grows, we are seeking Bay Area/Northern CA healthcare management consultants with a minimum of 6-8 years' experience in executing key strategic initiatives, business process improvement and business transformation using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Our versatile consultants work with healthcare payers, providers, systems, and academic medical centers in a variety of areas including care delivery, financial planning and decision support, clinic expansion, regulatory compliance and quality management. We have both employee and subcontractor positions available.
Here's a sample of the kind of work you might do for our clients:


  • Drive operational transformation and management of a large-scale value stream project such as defining key metrics and implementing best practices for staff and patient safety
  • Lead efforts to improve cross-project coordination, resource planning and alignment with a client's long-term business strategy
  • Facilitate process optimization workshops to evaluate current state and develop a vision and implementation plan for improvement
  • Conduct benchmarking, data analytics and operational assessments to identify areas for improvement and eliminate non-value add activities and/or variation in processes
  • Provide overall project management, including developing and maintaining presentations and dashboards, creating stakeholder maps, leading work teams, documenting process improvements, managing communications across stakeholder organizations and maintaining a program budget
  • Help clients implement key Lean based tools such as A3, Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA), Value Stream Mapping, and other visual management tools

    • Ability to deliver projects on time, on budget and with the highest quality
    • Ability to flex and work with a team or individually to provide highly specialized and/or technical expertise
    • Excellent communication, facilitation, consensus-building, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
    • Experience and comfortable working at all levels of an organization
    • A high degree of self-motivation, integrity, and versatility
    • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree, PMP, Lean and Scaled Agile certifications a plus
