Job Description:
Summary SUMMARY: -Accountable for leading optimization of
clinical dashboards for outcomes driven metrics. -Mine data and/or
information to identify inconsistencies, trends, or other
clinically relevant date needed (eg. develop and/or run data
queries). Work cross functionally and collaborate across other
teams and projects, including coordinating resources across
Information Systems, Operations, Vendor(s) and/or other system
related functional resources required to implement and support IS
projects at the enterprise level. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Following are the duties performed by employees in this
classification. However, employees may perform other related duties
at an equivalent level. Not all duties listed are necessarily
performed by each individual in the classification. 1. Ensures the
accuracy and comprehensiveness of the reports and data sources, and
provides support and training on reporting and related topics 2.
Assists with and executes project planning (including planning,
organizing, and managing resources) and all phases of the project
management life cycle for a variety of initiatives related to
clinical practice initiatives that bring about beneficial changes
or added value 3. Actively responds to questions and queries, work
to reinforce best practices and methods, and provides follow up
support 4. Works with internal and external sources to support
enhanced automation of data acquisition and reporting through EPIC
and other clinical data systems 5. Manages multiple tasks and
projects simultaneously 6. Conduct, monitor and report on analyses
to identify practices that enhance the value of care provided by
drilling into the components of care such as patient flow, medical
supplies and devices, pharmaceuticals, laboratory testing, nursing
care, radiology testing, surgical services, therapy services 7.
Assess the application of evidence-based clinical standards and
clinical reengineering processes and their impact on operations,
quality, cost, and resource utilization 8. Identify best practices
in the technical community and help to shape and implement policies
that enhance data quality, compliance and clinical operational
users support. -Activities would include attending courses and
researching articles & publications to engage feedback for clinical
users of the EHR. 9. Performs other duties as assigned. Any
combination of education and experience that would likely provide
the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession
of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred Education: Bachelors in Computer
Sciences, Data Science or any Healthcare related degree. -Required
Experience: Five years of experience in Epic Cogito RWB, Cogito
Clarity-SQL reporting with significant experience in Inpatient
Clinical Dashboards. -Preferred Experience: Experience in
application implementation using diversified application lines of
information systems; experience with workflows analysis and
healthcare quality reporting with electronic health record systems.
- Experience with Quality Metrics-CMS, eCQM or clinical quality
related metrics. Must have ability to write SQL query for data
analytics Certifications: Must have at least one Epic Cogito
Certificate and at least one Epic Clinical Application Certificate
-Preferred Certifications: Clarity Data Model and Caboodle Data
Model with experience working with clinical application
