  • Requires ARRT with corresponding sub certificationOther Details:Cardiac Cath Lab Tech NeededREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:RCIS or RCESCA State LicenseBLSEXPERIENCE:2 Years RequiredJOB DUTIES:-Prepares and sets-up equipment to ensure interpretable results; explains methods and procedure to patient;evaluates patient's total condition throughout the test. Selects and operates equipment as directed.-Records and calculates all necessary parameters and performs ECG tracings for diagnostic purposes.-Sets up and checks equipment for cardiac testing and administers exam to patients.-Reviews and evaluates completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered; ensures quality images.-Participates in the coordination of ambulatory ECG monitor program; sends record of the patient monitor usage forbilling to central office for processing; prepare Cardiology reports for physician's evaluation.-Performs tests with portable equipment in patient room when necessary.-Obtains patient history, answers patients question. Positions patient on table and explains basic procedure. -Positions and transfers patients comfortably.
