UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals
Division of Developmental Medicine, Department of Pediatrics
HS Clinical, Clinical X, Adjunct, and In Residence Faculty
Series
The Division of Developmental Medicine in the Department of
Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF
Benioff Children's Hospitals is recruiting faculty positions at the
Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks of the
Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, Adjunct, or In Residence
faculty series. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.
Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and
an established training program. This position may have clinical
responsibilities at the San Francisco, Oakland, or San Mateo
campuses and would actively contribute to the Departments mission
of excellence in research, education, and patient care.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should possess a medical degree and license,
as well as board eligibility or certification in
developmental-behavioral pediatrics. Successful candidates will
demonstrate expertise in the practice and teaching of clinical
pediatric developmental medicine. Preferred candidates will express
interest in a career in academic pediatrics and have experience
working in diverse, multi-disciplinary clinical teams.

For positions that are 51% effort or more:
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank
and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range
for this position is $104,800-$320,100. This position includes
membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides
for eligibility for additional compensation.
For positions that are 50% effort or less:
See Table 2 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable
estimate for this position is $74,800-$228,600.
