UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals
Division of Medical Genetics, Department of Pediatrics
HS Clinical, Clinical X, Adjunct, and In Residence Faculty
Series
The Division of Medical Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at
the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff
Children's Hospitals are recruiting faculty members to join the
Section of Biochemical Genetic Medicine. Appointments will be made
at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in
the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, Adjunct, or In
Residence faculty series. Academic rank is commensurate with
experience.
Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center. This
position may have clinical responsibilities at both the San
Francisco and Oakland campuses and would actively contribute to the
Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and
patient care.
The Biochemical Genetics program includes a dedicated nurse
clinical coordinator, nurse practitioner, metabolic dietitians,
genetic counselor, and genetic counseling assistant.
Qualified candidates should possess a medical degree and license,
board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Medical
Genetics and Genomics or equivalent.
For positions that are 51% effort or more:
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank
and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range
for this position is $104,800-$320,100. This position includes
membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides
for eligibility for additional compensation.
For positions that are 50% effort or less:
See Table 2 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable
estimate for this position is $74,800-$228,600.
