Performs mammographic exams and other related diagnostic procedures requiring advanced skills.Job Description:EDUCATION
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • Associate's or equivalent education/experienceCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
    • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
    • ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists
    • RHM-Radiology MammographyPREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
      • One to two years related experience and/or trainingSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
        • Excellent knowledge of mammography, sterile technique, and basic patient monitoring.
        • Understands supplies used for core biopsy , localizations, and other related procedures.
        • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
        • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
        • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
        • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
        • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra preferred.
        • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standard ization exists.
