Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Risk Manager for a travel nursing job in Vallejo, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Risk Manager - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in Risk Management and Quality Improvement for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. This role will support patient safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement efforts across clinical departments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in hospital risk management processes. Key Responsibilities - Conduct risk assessments and analyze patient safety events - Review incident reports and support root cause analysis (RCA) investigations - Collaborate with clinical leadership to implement corrective action plans - Monitor regulatory compliance and accreditation standards - Support quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics - Maintain documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines - Participate in interdisciplinary committees related to patient safety and quality - Assist with policy development and process improvement Required Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of California or ability to obtain) - BLS certification (AHA) - Experience in hospital-based Risk Management, Patient Safety, or Quality Improvement - Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance processes - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment Schedule & Work Environment - Day shift – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Weekly time sheets - Onsite hospital-based role Ideal Candidate Profile - Prior experience in acute care hospital settings - Familiarity with incident reporting systems and patient safety programs - Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards - Strong analytical and documentation skills HCRR About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
