Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Santa Rosa, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,793 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery and post-partum care required. License: Valid state nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP. AWHONN Advanced preferred. Must-Have: Labor and Delivery and post-partum experience. Description: Labor and Delivery experience is required. Post-partum experience is required. Will allow 4x12 schedule upon request. Patient ratios are 1:3. First-time travelers are accepted. Strong precepting skills are a plus. Clinical candidates must have strong skills in the required areas. Facility handles 200-300 births per month. Responsibilities include high-risk antepartum care, LDRP, and triage of obstetrical patients. Experience with IUPC (intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration is essential. Candidates must be able to maintain central lines, administer anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy. Clinical duties include circulating for C-sections and performing sterile vaginal exams. Adherence to isolation precautions and PPE is necessary. Travelers may be expected to float within the hospital or to nearby facilities. Candidates must be willing to work two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Minimum of two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting is required. Travelers can be expected to float between sister facilities; refusal to float may impact assignment and guaranteed hours. Providers should be prepared to supply their own communication devices for work-related use. Travelers are encouraged to explore housing options in the area, as availability may be limited.
