Date: March 9, 2026 Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30) Weekly
Pay: $2,709 Position Overview Seeking an experienced RN for the
Med/Surg Telemetry unit (9th Floor PCU) at Sutter Health Alta Bates
Summit Medical Center Hawthorne. This is a travel assignment with
exposure to MS/Telemetry patients, complex cardiac monitoring, and
high-acuity care. Key Responsibilities - Provide direct patient
care in accordance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures
- Assess, coordinate, and evaluate patient care plans with a
patient-centric approach - Perform specialized nursing care: CVA
care, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP/CPAP, chest tube management,
tracheostomy care - Administer IV therapy, blood products, and
manage PICC/central lines - Educate patients and families regarding
care plans and transitions - Collaborate with interdisciplinary
team including PT, respiratory, pharmacy, and social services - May
float to Ashby or Herrick Campus Rehab Units as needed Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg/Telemetry experience - CA RN license
- ACLS and BLS certification (AHA) - Epic charting experience -
Familiarity with high-acuity MS/Tele patients and complex cardiac
