meaningful experiences. As a member of the hotel Leadership
Committee, the Executive Chef is a highly visible role with
exposure to Senior and Corporate leadership. This position reports
to the hotel General Manager.
The Executive Chef will be responsible for kitchen operations
including menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, and
sanitation. This position directs the training of culinary staff
and other kitchen workers engaged in preparing and cooking foods to
ensure an efficient and profitable food service. The position
demands creativity for menu concepts and creations in all F&B
Areas (Banquets, Quail & Crane, Twin Crafts Market and Bar, Grand
Club, and for any other special events). On a daily basis, our
Executive Chef, will have excellent communication skills, and the
ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards. Successful
candidates will be "hands on" and be engaged in working alongside
their culinary team under any circumstance. It is imperative to be
able to balance both administrative and operational
responsibilities. The Executive Chef works well under pressure, is
organized, flexible, self-motivated and is willing to work long
hours.
Duties include:
*The salary range for this position is $106,800 - $165,600. This is
the pay range for this position that Grand Hyatt at SFO
reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries
will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and
education.
