We have a client in Oakland, CA seeking a Sr HR Coordinator to support their Team.This role will be remote until the end of the year, but might go onsite when needed, so travel to the office is required from time to time.Advanced expertise in Word, Excel and Powerpoint is required (Testing will be issued once offer is made)This HR Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all employees (supporting around 400 employees)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as a first point of contact for service to employees and respond to general inquiries about HR programs, policies, and other HR-related items.Provides administrative support to the Senior Director of HR, including but not limited to: scheduling, meeting preparation, travel arrangements, and expense reporting. Provide general administrative support to HR team members in various areas of HR as assigned (i.e., recruitment, performance management, benefits). Provides onsite logistical support for meetings and conferences. Analyze, track and interpret data creating reports, spreadsheets and presentations needed to support operational decision making (i.e. HR dashboard, org charts, service awards). Participates or provide support for projects and/or programs relating to HR. Proactively identify areas that need process improvement, streamlining or automation to enhance HR operations and service to our employees and other stakeholders. Prepares departmental invoices. Coordinates with internal teams or external vendors to ensure appropriate processing of invoices. Enter and maintain data within HRIS and applicant tracking systems as needed.Produces, edits, proofreads and disseminates professional level general correspondence Provides drafts, edits and formats PowerPoint presentations and prepares meetings materials.Organizes and maintains documents on departmental shared-drives, confidential personnel files.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree required. Five or more years administrative and operational support experience in a complex organization, with 1-2 years of support for human resources. Experience providing administrative support to teams and executive/management staffAdvanced proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook. Ability and willingness to learn new software tools and applications. Experience with applicant tracking and HRIS systems
