Galileo is looking for a service-minded Senior Manager,
Recruiting Operations to join our highly collaborative People
Operations team. In this role you'll lead two direct reports
supporting operations and - leveraging data to lead operations
efficiency across recruiting and hiring, - as we hire hundreds of
staff each year. You'll engage with stakeholders to identify
continuous improvement opportunities to reporting, including
dashboards and tools for visualization. - You'll ensure effective
operations and always strive to remove roadblocks by making

really?The Senior Manager, Recruiting Operation is both a
recruiting process visionary and a deft executor, ready to greet a
large-scale hiring operation with eagerness. They not only enjoy
putting things in order, but also relish managing details in
support of the success of a team. This role will manage one
seasonal specialist and two year round direct reports. Key
responsibilities include:
- You'll envision & implement recruiting process (re)designs. You
will be the primary driver of our recruiting operations process and
act as a consultant to other People Operations subteams, including
ensuring our processes incorporate a diversity and inclusiveness
lens. This includes reviewing and optimizing our candidate hiring
process, implementing process changes, and holding collaborators
accountable while ensuring excellent candidate care along the way.
- You'll take the reins of our applicant tracking system (ATS),
iCIMS, and optimize its usage for all People team functions, as
well as hiring managers. You'll handle ongoing team training, and
create & update resources to build deeper ATS competency in our
team. You'll design stakeholder dashboards to support unique
workflows by role.
- You'll work with recruiting and hiring team leaders to
determine appropriate metrics and goals for our major hiring
categories: corporate, summer program directors, and summer camp
staff.
- You'll continuously improve our recruiting operations, with a
focus on automation, scalability and candidate experience. -
- You'll support headcount estimation for summer camp staff
hiring, and partner cross-departmentally with the field operations
team to ensure alignment with the recruiting teamWho is Galileo

-What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting operations or other human
resources roles demonstrating increasing levels of
responsibility
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, especially
iCIMS
- Experience with ticketing and project management, preferably at
scale
- Experience in project management, managing work plans and
interfacing with multiple teams
- Computer savvy: solid command of Excel and Google docs and
ability to pick up new software and technology
- Skill at and experience with soliciting and implementing
feedback to improve performance
- Passionate at resigning the system and improving the process to
yield the highest possible outcome. -

- Annual salary of $70,000-$80,000
