Position Summary The Expert Diversity/AA/EEO Consultant will monitor and respond to Employment Compliance and Reporting requirements. The candidate is responsible for the development, implementation, analysis, and monitoring of Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity policies and programs and sourcing/outreach , including the annual Affirmative Action Plans for women and minorities, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans as well as any state reporting requirements (e.g., Pay Equity reporting) . This individual will ensure stakeholder awareness and compliance. They will provide training and coaching on AA/EEO best practices and evaluate policies, programs, and systems and recommend improvements in recruitment and employee programs to ensure compliance. The successful candidate will prepare employment trend reports and develop reporting metrics to evaluate program focus areas and measures of success. The position is classified as hybrid. The work will be performed at your home office and in the Oakland General Office with 0-3 days in office as business needs require. Job Responsibilities To include, but not limited to:

  • Manage the development of the company s annual Affirmative Action Plans for women and minorities, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans for major Line Businesses and Establishments. Provide guidance to other HR and Line business functions in the implementation of Affirmative Action Plan commitments.
  • Serve as subject matter expert in developing policies, programs, and systems to meet affirmative action and equal employment opportunity compliance requirements. Provide training and coaching to other stakeholders on AA/EEO best practices.
  • Manage the periodic certifications of the company s AA/EEO contract compliance requirements and obligations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Oversee the submission of annual federal and state governmental compliance reports, such as EEO-1 and VETS4212 reporting.
  • Coordinate the company s responses to periodic U.S. Department of Labor s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCC) compliance evaluations/audits and investigations. Serve as the company s primary liaison with OFCCP investigators.
  • Develop periodic assessment of the company s AA/EEO compliance posture, and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership. Qualifications Minimum:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related fields, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
    • 8 years experience in a combination of managing and/or implementing a corporate affirmative action compliance program, diversity and inclusion related experience or leadership
    • Experience in analyzing data and making recommendations to programs based on the data Desired:
      • Experience in responding to OFCCP compliance evaluations/audits
      • PHR-Professional in Human Resources certification
      • Knowledge of federal affirmative action regulations Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
        • Demonstrates advocacy for programs and ability to translate data insights into proactive tangible actions
        • Ability to design and implement programs
        • Ability to engage all critical stakeholders
        • Ability to coach and counsel senior leaders
