Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a Tableau Developer in Oakland, CA.Key Tasks:* Installation, upgrade, configuration, maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting of shared Tableau server environments* Participate in and contribute to the implementation of best industry practices for Tableau* Contribute to architecture and capacity planning activities* Conduct performance tuning and capacity management* Implement patches and other day-to-day administration tasks including creating Tableau sites/applications setup/enhancement of site and create/update security roles, schedules (for email subscriptions and extract refreshes)* Troubleshooting issues with data connection, security, and permissions* Work with IT and business users to resolve support and technical questions* Contribute to coordination and planning of Tableau/Infrastructure related activities/outages* Resolve Tableau Desktop software related issues on end user computers* Work with vendor to troubleshoot/fix Tableau server related issues* Maintain Tableau environment health checks* Monitor and process ServiceNow tickets and incidents* Work with users and resolve Tableau server portal access issuesREQUIREMENTS:* Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Tableau* Someone with extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing complex Tableau reports and dashboards* Previous company experience highly desired* Clarity experience required* SQL experience required* Experience pulling raw data from multiple sources into a dashboard* Someone with the curiosity to understand the data and become a thought-partner for optimal insights* Strong interpersonal skills that can engage with users and leaders to understand and implement final solutionsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
