Serves as the operational owner of an application and responsible
for defining the vision, usage, and features of one or more
modules. Responsible for managing the effectiveness of application
support teams that interface with end users, as well as performance
and overall management of the application, including all
development and production support working across HR, IT, and
vendors. Development work is typically configuration of the
application to support business needs by managing and prioritizing
the product team work queue. Production support is focused on
maintaining and supporting the existing system through enhancements
to existing application or responding to problems and issues with
application. Responsible for providing subject matter expertise by
researching and sharing knowledge about the application
functionality for users. Act as liaison between Portfolio/Process
leaders and technology to oversee the identification of
requirements for the application. Manage the resolution of more
complex cases and escalations in partnerships with IT.
- Application Support: Responsible for setting application road
map and key initiatives, serving as the application leader across
modules to contribute to business objectives. Facilitate
coordination between Product Owners (functional owner) to ensure
- Participate in change control meetings/intake meetings
resolving priority issues with the business, vendors, and IT

- Solutioning: Serves as the application leader when partnering
with the Portfolio team on inter- and intra-HR, IT, and business
function collaboration efforts to ensure alignment and solutioning
between strategy, programs, and operations. Influences
cross-functional and/or cross-divisional task forces to identify
and document technical requirements, workflow, information sources
and system specifications.
- Helps evaluate existing application and modules and makes
recommendations that to address client requirements. Helps identify
alternative uses of technologies that will enhance current or
anticipated information systems and that support overall corporate
and business goals that are appropriately aligned with the
enterprise architecture. Helps identify Identifies opportunities

- Customer Support: Act as SME and HR functional product owners
for the application. Work with business leadership (Portfolio and
Business Unit leaders) to prioritize workload. Work with relevant

- Minimum ten (10) years of related experience to include general
business and system experience (user experience), management
- Minimum eight (8) years related experience managing teams and
delegating competing business priorities required. Education
- Master's degree in management science, industrial engineering &
operations research, business administration, computer science/user
experience, or related field, OR six (6) years of experience in a
directly related field required.
- High school diploma, or General Education Development (GED)
required. License, Certification, Registration
- Experience in using JIRA to manage the backlog.
- Advanced knowledge of own area of functional responsibility and
full knowledge of multiple related IT functions.
- Prior experience in systems and user acceptance testing.
- Understanding of operating a support function in a cloud

- Strong human resources knowledge.
