Job Description Software Engineer (Backend) - 100% remote My client, a financial services company is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer to join the team. This company provides a revolving line of credit that customers access through your existing debit card without issuing a card. Their process is turns your debit card into a credit card by syncing with your primary checking account, analyzing your cashflow; then offering up a line of credit tailored to you (not your credit score) never running a credit check, never rejecting anyone. Required Skills 5 years of full-time experience as a Software Engineer BS in Computer Science or commensurate experience Architecturally sound and proficient in large scale system design Deep understanding of the semantics of Node.js (event loop, streams, events, etc) Experience scaling and optimizing performance of applications to support rapid growth Experience integrating with external APIs Experience with background job processing, queues, etc Strong experience with relational databases (Postgres or otherwise), including schema and query design, implementation, and optimization Ability to work autonomously while delivering timely results Technical Stack NodeJS, ExpressJS, Postgres, Redis, Heroku, Git Benefits & Perks: Medical, Dental, Vision $1,500.00 professional development budget Fitness/Wellness reimbursement Internet reimbursement Home office $1,000.00 stipend Unlimited PTO with manager approval Mental health days off Salary: $130k --- $170k Equity 0.4% --- 0.7%
