Role: Senior Backend Java Developer
End Client: Healthcare
Client Location: Oakland, CA area
Remote/Hybrid: Currently Remote
Duration: 3 years (36 months)
Pay Rate: $60/hr C2C.

Responsibilities:
The Backend Java Developer will join a dynamic team in the development of new solutions for clinician collaboration using real-time collaboration solutions and platforms along with solutions that leverage events streams, Client and NLP technologies for iOS and Desktop platforms. The solutions portfolio uses SQL and NoSQL DB, Microservices Architecture, React/Node JS, Java, and JavaScript stack for the future roadmap to enable AI based solutions for healthcare service
enablement needs.

• Develop in the latest Java stack with REST API driven Microservices environment with
  
• ownership on deployment and resilient development.
  
• Perform code reviews and code refactoring to increase application scale, reduce latency and
  
• code duplication.
  
• Evaluate cutting edge technologies and suggest. adopting specific technologies to improve
  
• business/ product efficiency.
  
  Technical Skill Set:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Backend Java Development - 6+ years
    
  • Experience in writing test cases. Experience with JUnit 5 is an advantage.
    
  • Implementing caching technologies using Spring and Redis.
    
  • Expertise in using GIT and Git commands, and Maven or Gradle to build projects.
    
  • Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and writing ingress files, GitLab YAML files, and deployment of YAML files, Experience in creating secrets/certificates using YAML files.
    
  • JQuery and AJAX experience are an asset to build POCs with front-end and back-end interactions.
    
  • Understand existing code and should know APIs using in all our services with API signatures.
    
  • Possess effective debugging skills and testing of APIs using Postman before creating PR.
    
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns, Microservices, event driven and Cloud native architectures.
    
  • Adept in an Agile development methodology.
