Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
practical experience. 5 years of experience in product management,
building and shipping consumer technical products. Experience in
video playback technologies, device integration, and machine
learning. Experience working with content recommendation engines.
Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or
business related field. Experience in a role preparing and
delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
Experience launching products at scale and working across a large
cross-functional team. Experience in product management for video
streaming or connected TV platforms. Understanding of the
short-form video ecosystem and its evolution for viewers, creators,
and advertisers. Excellent communication and collaboration skills,
with working in fast-paced environments and with global

the living room. As a Product Manager for YouTube Shorts on TV, you
will own the Shorts experience on our fastest-growing platform. You
will define the future of short-form content consumption,
community, and interaction on billions of devices with over 1B
daily YouTube watch hours. You will bridge the gap between goal and
execution, collaborating across recommendations, ads, and OEM teams
to deliver a one-of-a-kind, immersive media experience. At YouTube,

together. The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$163,000-$237,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

Responsibilities Set the goal and strategy for how YouTube on TV
viewers consume and interact with YouTube Shorts across the player,
entrypoints, and discovery journeys. Collaborate with
recommendation and quality teams to optimize Shorts content for the
living room with topical feeds and communal recommendations.
Enhance the Shorts player with interactive and multi-format
capabilities, scaling strategic bets across shopping, music, and
movies and shows integrations. Partner with Ads teams to develop
next-generation TV-first Shorts ad formats and with OEMs for
high-performance playback across surfaces. Raise the bar on product
excellence and visual design, ensuring Shorts is the most modern
short-form content experience on TV.
