Requirements Bring a high school diploma or equivalent. Bring at least 1 year of experience in construction, mining, recycling, or a heavy-equipment yard environment (preferred). Able to lift, carry, and move 50 lbs safely throughout the shift. Comfortable working outdoors in noisy, dusty conditions and in all types of weather. Willing to perform physical labor, including shoveling, stacking, and general cleanup. Experience with Bobcat, Gradall, or similar heavy equipment is a plus (training available for the right candidate). Basic mechanical understanding of pumps, belts, valves, and pressure gauges is helpful. Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team. Willing and available to work occasional weekends as needed for production. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor the wash plant, including screens, pumps, CFCU, thickeners, cyclones, and water recovery systems to support daily production. Assist in running the filter press, including cycle start-up, cake drop, cloth inspection, and basic troubleshooting. Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the yard to keep stockpiles and production areas flowing. Help organize, stack, and maintain aggregate stockpiles to meet quality and inventory standards. Perform daily inspections on conveyors, belts, pumps, nozzles, hoppers, and slurry lines, reporting any damage or issues. Check water flow, pressures, and chemical dosing levels (coagulant, flocculant, defoamer) and alert leadership to abnormalities. Assist mechanics or supervisors with minor maintenance, adjustments, and basic repairs when directed. Respond quickly to alarms, leaks, or equipment issues and communicate concerns to supervisors immediately. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including washouts, housekeeping around equipment, and general yard cleanup. Use required PPE correctly at all times and follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and written instructions. Perform inspections using the Safety Culture (or similar) app and participate in corrective actions when needed. Work outdoors in all weather conditions and support any additional cleaning, remediation, and troubleshooting labor as assigned.
