Job Description:

Enlisted Design is seeking a mid-level Visual Designer to work on branding and packaging initiatives to support one of our largest accounts with a major pet food company. The Visual Designer will work with a team of Account Directors, Strategists, and other Designers solely dedicated to this major account. Special attention will be paid to applicants who have worked with pet and/or food and beverage brands.We are a passionate team and thrive on a highly collaborative relationship with our client partners to create, launch, and support brands and products. The Visual Designer will help to maintain and evolve the visual identity of our client's brand. Working with the team, they will develop assets used across multiple marketing channels including point-of sale items, consumer education pieces, digital campaigns, and trade show booth design. The Visual designer will contribute to the refresh and line extensions of existing sub-brand packaging, as well as creating new package design and visual identities for future sub-brands. As part of a small team, being flexible and highly collaborative is essential.Core responsibilities and capabilities:* Help to develop and maintain a consistent visual design language across a family of products.* Contribute creative solutions for new packaging and sub-brand development.* Demonstrate beautiful aesthetics and expertise in color, layout, typography and photography.* Map design recommendations to strategic objectives, key audiences, brand values and core messaging.* Function within a collaborative team and work under the direction of Senior Designers, Art Directors and Account Managers.* Possess basic photography, photo editing and color correction abilities.* Show competence in basic mechanical file production for smaller packaging projects.* Understand and appreciate project cycle processes.* Exhibit a proactive attitude and team-oriented approach to client projects and studio culture.Required qualifications:* 3 - 5 years of relevant agency or in-house experience.* Bachelor's degree from an accredited design program in a directly related field of study.* Mastery of industry standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.* Portfolio with demonstrated experience in branding and packaging.* Basic understanding of mechanical file production.Qualifications that are not required, but will strengthen candidacy:* Experience collaborating and presenting your work directly to clients with support from Senior Design staff and management.* Familiarity with or interest in Industrial Design* Experience with audience testing* Experience overseeing and mentoring designers
