We partner with state, county and private foster care agencies around the country, helping them recruit and approve foster parents more quickly and empowering social workers by eliminating administrative paperwork. Our software also helps match families with children and helps track services to biological families to get on their feet and reunify with their children. Binti currently works with over 140 foster care agencies across 22 states. Rhode Island, New Mexico, Hawaii and Washington have signed on to make our software their statewide solution.-- Our goal is to be the end-to-end modular child welfare data system solution. Our Approvals and Placements modules are widely used and have significantly improved outcomes. Agencies working with us have approved 80% more families on average in their first year of using Binti, with a 16% reduction in time to approve and 20-40% savings in social worker time. Our Case Management module is completing a pilot with our existing agencies and will be more widely available very soon. We are also expanding our team to further develop 3 additional modules. Binti is a mission-driven software company based in Oakland, CA. We have raised our Series A led by Founders Fund and other investors include First Round Capital and Kapor Capital. The Role The Account Executive role at Binti is an integral part of our Business Development team. You will be responsible for talking to new government and private agencies around the country to share what Binti is doing to foster innovation in the child welfare field with our unique software solutions. You would be the second Account Executive and will work closely with the team to build on our success, grow the company, and help foster youth and the agencies that serve them reach their full potential. You'll also have the opportunity to work across teams within Binti to ensure that our products surpass expectations and we exceed our goals. Responsibilities

• Working collaboratively with the Business Development team, assist with identifying, refining and executing new strategies to build interest and generate sales
• Lead virtual and (occasionally) in-person meetings to engage government and agency leaders and social workers to demonstrate Binti's potential impact on their organization, including demonstrations of module functionality
• Use sales and pipeline data to improve performance and maximize productivity
• --Working closely with Sales Development Representatives and other team members, explore and execute innovative methods to engage new potential customers through email campaigns, virtual and live events, conferences, etc
• Systematically gather and provide feedback from potential customers to the product team to inform new features and functionality for the product roadmap
• Coordinate with the account management team to transition new accounts to them and ensure a smooth launch of Binti's software modules
• Work with agency teams and Binti's legal counsel to discuss and finalize contracts Experience & Skills
  • Must have either 2+ years of experience in child welfare/foster care or 2+ years in sales at a tech company
  • Child welfare/foster care experience is strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong team focus, and excellent collaboration skills to work within and across teams and with multiple different customers and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to flexibly manage multiple projects at a time/ wear many hats in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • --Excellent time and project management skills, with a drive to improve processes and attention to detail and follow-up to improve inefficient processes
  • Compensation will be base + commission--
  • 3 month ramp at full OTE--
  • OTE will depend on level of experience
