Eko was established in 2013 and has offices in Oakland and San Francisco. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Eko, you will: Assist in the design and development of future products Oversee sustaining efforts of legacy products that are currently being sold Propose product changes to improve product quality, performance and manufacturability Write and execute test plans for all product changes Oversee root cause analysis of returned/ defective product Lead communication between Manufacturing and Engineering Teams Develop custom manufacturing equipment Write work instructions for manufacturing processes Create Manufacturing Process test protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in mid/high volume manufacturing of electronic devices Bachelors' or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline Strong CAD skills (preferably Solidworks) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to be innovative, resourceful, and work with minimal direction Excellent organization, problem solving, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods Ability to travel 10% of the time Nice to Haves: Experienced in ISO 13485 medical device development Experience in physiological sensing applications Understanding of FDA, GMP, and ISO guidelines Eko is elevating the way clinicians detect and monitor cardiac and respiratory disease by bringing together advanced sensors, patient and provider software, and AI-powered analysis.
