Job Description:

As a Senior Deal Desk Analyst, you will report to the Revenue Manager and support all customer deals from inception of a sales opportunity to booking the signed contract. The ideal candidate is skilled and knowledgeable in a variety of areas such as enterprise software customer contract structure, common SaaS metrics, revenue recognition, and best practices in the Quote-to-Book process.

The successful candidate will be able to partner with Sales, Legal, Customer Success, Renewals, Revenue Recognition and Order Management to establish the best outcome for the Customer, and for LaunchDarkly from a financial and operational perspective.

Responsibilities:

* Review Sales-proposed quotes, provide feedback and coaching, ensure accuracy and compliance with published sales and business policies, and approve or reject/escalate quotes as needed based on policy and business judgement. * Draft Order Forms as needed, and track to completion, ensuring the final signed documents and changes are in order. * Provide timely responses and collaborate with colleagues or draft redlines as needed to ensure deals are closed on time. * Enforce LaunchDarkly's established processes to ensure data integrity and consistency in all closed opportunities. * Ensure all information (e.g. POs, correct billing emails, etc.) is obtained in order to efficiently pass the closed deal to the next step in the process: order management. * Validate customer purchase orders for accuracy, prepare documentation packages to expedite order management processes. * Ensure all contracts are duly executed and along with supporting documents are uploaded to the contract admin tool. * Ensure quarter-end cutoff is complete and accurate. * Ensure systems are reconciled as needed. * Help to ensure accurate provisioning. * Help to ensure accurate Account level data in Salesforce. * Help improve processes and procedures, establish the process and document. * Help upgrade/implement systems, and participate in cross functional projects when needed. * Learn the CPQ tool used and become the expert in configuration of the tool. * Help to train new AE's on creating and closing opportunities, as needed. * Other sales operations functions as required.

Required Experience/Skills:

* Previous Software/SaaS Industry, Deal Desk, Finance, and Operations experience essential. * Ability to manage high volumes at month and quarter ends to meet tight deadlines. * Knowledgeable about common SaaS metrics (e.g. ARR). * A self-starter who is highly analytical with sound decision-making skills. * Strong communication and positive interpersonal skills. * Quick learner of new information and from one's mistakes.Ability to work collaboratively at all levels of the organization. * Intermediate MS Excel skills. * Math skills through basic Algebra. * High level of attention to detail crucial. * Experience with CRMs and quoting tools

Desired Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Law or related discipline * Experience with software revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) is helpful * Advising senior sales management on key deals to support their business * Proficiency with Salesforce
