In this role, you'll own core HR functions, including overseeing our HRIS and providing exceptional HR transactional guidance to the Everlaw team. You'll work closely with IT to evaluate our HR tools and systems and leverage new and existing technology to automate processes and workflows. As the primary owner of our HRIS, you'll troubleshoot issues, perform periodic audits of employee data, generate reports, and analyze data. We do not believe in the 'perfect' candidate and encourage you to apply if you feel you can bring value to our team.

This is a full-time, nonexempt position located onsite in Oakland, California.

* Continue to build up your general HR and Everlaw-specific knowledge by following our established workflows and developing a deep understanding of our existing processes. * Evaluate current tools and systems and implement process improvements via automation. * Build strong relationships with vendors and external service providers and oversee vendor performance. * Operate on an increasingly autonomous level and lead a variety of HR projects to automate processes, including onboarding and offboarding. * Manage employee records, including HRIS profiles, HR documents and other information. * Partner with the Business Operations team to ensure workplace safety compliance.

About you:
